Sweets for a Party by Bunny
Bunny is off to a cocktail party on Wednesday and realizes at the last minute she needs a fabulous, fast, unforgettable sweet, much like herself, to share with everyone. What will she make?
Cookie Squares and Triangles from Cook. They go together in minutes and bake in 20. Just enough time to wrap up a few remaining gifts.
Bunny will be baking on Edmonton's CTV Morning Live Show Wednesday Dec.7. The morning host will be her sous chef and put the recipe Cookie Squares and Triangles from Cook by Deborah Anzinger P.H.Ec. together for her.

A recipe from Cook—You Can Cook Fast, Healthy Meals For Your Family

Ingredients
11/2 cup butter, cut into small cubes
11/2 tsp salt
11/2 tsp vanilla
11/2 cup sugar
3 cups flour
11/2 cups chocolate chips or chocolate chunks
11/2 cups pecans, toasted and chopped ( optional)
Order of Events
- Cream butter, salt, vanilla and sugar
- Stir in flour, chocolate chips and nuts
- Press firmly into 17x12 inch jelly roll pan
- Bake in a 375 degree F preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown
- Cool cookies in pan on cooling rack for 5 minutes then slice into squares or triangles, cool another 10 minutes and remove from pan
